SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2023 & Selection Process
As mentioned in SSC MTS 2023 Notification, there will be a Computer Based Examination for Multi Tasking Staff and Havaldar. There will be no descriptive paper for SSC MTS from now onwards. Paper 1 will be an online mode of examination that will comprise 4 sections namely Reasoning, Numerical Ability, English Language and General Awareness. There will be a Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for the post of Havaldar).

SSC MTS Paper-I Exam Pattern: Points
1. A total number of marks is 270 as per the latest pattern.
2. Paper- I will be objective type(Multiple Choice
Questions).
3. The questions will be set in English, Hindi, and in 13
regional languages for Session-I and the General Awareness Section of
Session-II.

5. The timing for Visually handicapped cerebral palsy
candidates is 45 Minutes each session.
6.The normalization of marks will be done.
SSC MTS Havaldar PET & PST
The candidates who have applied for SSC Havaldar posts have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test & Physical Standard Test after qualifying SSC MTS Tier-1 Exam. Followings are the PETand PST standards for the post of Havaldar in CBIC and CBN as mentioned in SSC MTS Notification 2023.

For the first time, SSC MTS computer-based exam will be held in "15 languages" and the candidates have to choose their choice of language while filling their application form.
